Black Point Tech trading as BPT is a new and young company that inherits the history of other ones that in the past have distributed the solutions of the Italian group Bpt, which later became the Came group in the fields of intercom systems, parking management and more in general access control solutions, like automatic bollards and turnstiles.
The story goes back to 1968 when the TRI was founded and became the importer of BPT, which was a company specialized in the design and production of the first “technological” domestic devices, such as the back-lit doorbells, audio entry panels, push-to-talk entry systems and the historic “flint” piezoelectric lighter.
That innovative spirit has continued throughout the years and the present product range leads the way technologically as it has always done for more than half a century.
Simplicity, easy to use, quality and exceptional design have been distinctive characteristics of the BPT brand throughout the years.
Since 1968 BPT products have found their way into thousands of households, buildings and complexes.
The quality of the products is complemented by skilled, friendly sales and technical support, no matter whether a system is 20 years old, 1 year old or yet to be sold – it is all part of the deal when purchasing a product from BPT.
BPT products cover two broad areas of applications.
- Residential or small to medium business applications. These are our products that are most likely to be used in residences, townhouses or small business complexes and include audio and video intercoms with expandability up to 7 handsets per household, apartment systems up to 100 apartments, GSM intercoms, stand-alone, entry-level access control, as well as hardware accessories.
- Commercial applications. These are solutions that are best suited for commercial environments and include audio and video intercoms with great scope of expandability on IP platforms. The IP360 system surpasses all traditional video-entry systems, making distances, the number of devices that can be connected, network size and simultaneous audio and video calls practically all unlimited. These solutions have been recently utilized in commercial and mixed-use prestigious sites in South Africa.

Came Ozak, based near Istanbul, Turkey, is another world leader in access control solutions and it is specialised in the production of turnstiles for access control, bollards and road blockers for urban control and high security.
Ozak also have special designed portable solutions. They are containers which contains access control full height turnstiles which are very useful for construction and remote sites where there is not yet an established fixed structure.
